On August 12, 2023, the National Library of Viet Nam (NLV) organized a ceremony to receive nearly 200 books donated by the National Library of Korea, through the Korean Cultural Center (KCC) in Viet Nam. This is an annual activity within the framework of the “Window on Korea” program period 2021-2026.
Attending the book donation ceremony, on behalf of the Korean Cultural Center in Viet Nam, there were Mr. Choi Seung Jin - Director of the KCC; on behalf of the National Library of Viet Nam, there were Mr. Nguyen Xuan Dung – Acting Director of the NLV and staffs of the two agencies.
On behalf of the National Library of Viet Nam, Mr. Nguyen Xuan Dung - Acting Director expressed his appreciation for the meaningful gift from the National Library of Korea and stated that this is a valuable spiritual gift, carefully selected with a variety of topics in both English and Korean which will certainly draw the attention of a large number of readers who love and are interested in knowing more about the Kimchi land. The NLV will add the donated materials to its collection and commit to making them available for readers soonest possible.
