Han-Nom collection: NLV’s Han-Nom collection is one of big collections of Vietnam about old books written in Nom script. This collection includes 5,200 books published mannualy in Do paper, of which a major numbers are in manuscript. This is a very precious collection that NLV is archiving and serving readers. In order to provide long term preservation of the collection as well as widely disseminate knowledge about culture, history, geography ancient literature in those books, NLV has collaborated with the Vietnamese Nom Preservation Foundation to digitalize this collection. At present, NLV has digitalized and put on its website full text of about 1,258 title of books (equivalent to 192,000 pages) at http://nom.nlv.gov.vn
